Multiplication Flash Cards

This program allows children to drill themselves easily on multiplication problems.
It doesn't rely on gimmicks like cute animals - it just uses numbers!
Nevertheless the child will more than likely call the program "their game".
Multiplication tables from 2 through 15 are provided, and problems can either be presented in order or randomly.
The program is suitable for grade school through middle school.
Depending on the child's age and computer skills, adult supervision may be required to set up the session.

Let's first look at the top portion of the program screen. On the left are the two slider controls used to easily select the multiplication table (or tables) desired for drill. In this example, multiplication tables 3 and 4 are being drilled.

The program provides a choice of presenting flash cards in sequence (for example 2 X 4, 3 X 4, 4 X 4, etc.) or randomly.

The total number of problems, the number of correct problems and the percentage of correct problems are provided for scoring the child's work. Scores are retained between program sessions, allowing for any needed breaks. Of course, scores can be reset if desired.

Finally, let's look at the entire screen. You can now see where the flash card problems are presented, and where answers are typed.

Windows 95 through Windows Vista.
